O-Cache III : Mad Rabbit (Nelson/Marlborough) Multi-cache

This cache utilises the permanent orienteering course that is set up in the Botanics and Branford Parks. To complete this cache, you need to visit the 16 control points (GPX download here) and note down the number at each location - these will be used to calculate the final cache co-ordinates. Its up to you as to how long this course is ;)

Note that this cache has more walking, more undulating terrain, and in some places worse GPS coverage than the Rabbit Island O-Caches. This adds to its difficulty. I was able to take good readings at most controls - but I was using an external antenna.

The cache is a camouflaged 1L Sistema container and contains a logbook, pencil, sharpner and a couple of empty plastic bags for trinkets. There are no items currently to swap, but feel free to stock it up!
