When: Tuesday, August 22nd, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Where: Kaka'ako Kitchen. Enter at the posted coordinates,
place your order, then look for GPSrs at the Ewa end of the covered
outdoor seating area.
This is a chance for us all to get to know our Oahu geohana a
little better. Bring your best geocaching stories and adventures.
If you don't have any, make one up, and see if we can tell the
difference!
There will be a trivia contest with prizes for the most correct
answers! The theme is Geocaching Trivia: Fact or Urban Legend
(You Decide).
Each attendee can provide one submission for this contest. (And
doing so will ensure you’ll get at least one answer right!) All
Geocaching Facts should be gleaned from the main geocaching.com
site, its forums, or personal experience. Geocaching Urban Legends
should be presented as if they came from one of those sources.
For example:
- sillygirl & jrr were the cachers involved in the
Menehune Zone incident. Fact or Urban
Legend?
- Team GeoBlast has been abducted by aliens on multiple caching
expeditions. As a result, they have the ability to simultaneously
find caches in Washington, Colorado and Hawaii. Fact or
Urban Legend?.
