onecrazycanadian: Hi,

I'm archiving this listing since it's been a month since I last contacted you. If you correct the problem I indicated and want to re-enable the cache listing let me know and I will be happy to do it after I verify that all is ok.

Thanks

Geocache Description:

This is a multi, with a puzzle. It's my first hide. Wrapped in the FTF certificate is some Canadian Tire money. It's winter-friendly if you are of hardy stock.

AB = The number of all landscape bricks on the top row of the retaining wall on both sides.

Proceed to N49 51.377, W097 03.039, following the obvious route.
C = The number of identical traffic signal boxes adjacent to the path en route.
D = The number of slats in one park bench where you are now.
E = The number of manhole covers touching the path, within a five metre radius of where you are now.

Your calculations are:

  • AB + 29 = PQ
  • C +1 = R
  • D – 5 = S
  • E + 1 = T
  • AB – 7 = UV
Plug these into your final cache destination:

N 49 50.PQR
W 097 0S.TUV

In the first leg, having a bike or rollerblades (when in season) would make this an enjoyable trip. However, it is a nice walk, too. If you park at the posted co-ordinates you will end the first part, ready to do your figuring, about 2 km from your car. At your final destination there will be some light bushwacking. Depending on the season/conditions, you may need rubber boots. As always, be aware of not disturbing resident muggles.
