You MUST be present and sign the log sheet DURING this time to claim this Event Cache. After 15 minutes... we're gone!
A Flash Mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.
DATE: Saturday, November 14, 2009
TIME: 11:00AM to 11:15 AM (only 15 minutes!)
WHERE: Veteran's Square, Fond du Lac
WHAT: A 15 minute TOGA PARTY!
As compared to a Mega-Event, this is just the opposite! The Event will last ONLY 15 minutes, not one second longer! This will be a small part of the WWFM VI (world wide flash mob #6). This Event (and all others around the globe in their respective time zone) will begin at precisely 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 14th and end at 11:15 AM.
At exactly 11:00 AM (as determined by your GPS clock), JimandLinda will place a container for log sheets near the coordinates. As you arrive, our helpers will hand you a "log sheet". Participants will sign the log sheet and drop them in the urn. We will then draw for FTF and a few other prizes.
We will also have a "feast" during the Event, as well as taking a group picture. At exactly 11:15 AM, the log sheets will be packed up and sealed away. The Event area will be dispersed, leaving no trace of ever being there!
There will be a post-Event gathering, but you MUST attend the WWFM VI - TOGA!, wear a TOGA, and sign a log sheet, to get credit for "Attended" status. (please wear clothing under your toga).
AGENDA:
10:45 - 10:59 AM - Cachers wait patiently in your car or stroll around the area. STAY AWAY from ground zero! Just act like a muggle! Get your TOGA on! (If you need help, google "toga party" to see how to "wrap" your toga!). At 10:59 AM, head toward the Event coordinates:

11:00 AM - Urn is placed for log sheets. This is the signal that the Event has begun! Log sheets are distributed. BYOP and sign the sheet, then drop them in the container provided. Participants can now mingle, swap trackables, or swap togas!
11:05 AM - The "feast" is served! (in true Greek tradition, we will serve GRAPES!). Prepare for group photo!
11:12 AM - Group photo is taken, with everyone in their TOGAS!
11:14 AM - One minute warning is called! FTF is drawn from log container. Prepare to leave, but don't LOOK like your leaving!
11:15 AM EXACTLY - LEAVE THE AREA!! And don't leave a trace behind! Not even a grape peel! The Event urn will be packed up and all cachers disperse!
We will be meeting immediately afterwards at "The Coliseum", 91 S. Main St. (about 2 blocks from the Event area), for a buffet lunch of pizza and wings. Dress is casual or TOGAS! Coordinates: N43.46.575 W88.26.815. (Details to follow). The Badgers are playing Michigan that day!
Feel free to cache in Fondy before or after the WWFM VI -TOGA! A few new ones may show up!
