Part 3A is a 1.2 litre lock pot, containing coordinates – H
and E for Mamma Mia ? (and also the coordinates/extra encrypted
clue to take you on to Part 3B).
We recommend you take disposable gloves to retrieve Part 2A!
Part 3B is a 240 ml round lock pot, containing 2 coordinates
– G and I for Mamma Mia ?
This cache will take you around 20-30 minutes to complete from Part
B of Mamma Mia 2 through to Part 3b.
We visited serveral times to improve the accuracy of the
coordinates but found the trees affected the GPS signal. However,
these should still prove to be easy finds, particularly with the
clues.
As with the other caches in this series, you do not need to
leave the bridleway.
TERRAIN
The route is over a bridleway and is generally good.
However,we’ve rated the terrain as 2.5 due to the mud in
winter/wet weather– it can take your wellies off! You have
been warned!
PARKING
We recommend this series be undertaken in a single walk, parking
in a lay-by in Old Church Lane (N 51° 38.660 E 000°22.925).

ROUTE
The route continues the adventures of Mia out on an early
morning hack. We hope mini-cachers enjoy the tale:-
…..Mia and her rider are reunited and start their ride
off again. As they leave the bridleway they turn East and go a few
yards down the road. Mia thinks they are on their way home so is
delighted when they turn off the road to explore another bridleway
in the direction of Ingatestone….
They approach a wood and wonder if they can go in to explore -
when there is a sudden burst of gunfire – and some very angry
pheasants come flapping out! ....Time to gallop on round the edge
of the woods!
….. they finally near the end of the bridleway when her
rider notices Mia is walking strangely. Oh, no! Mia has cast a
shoe. They’ll have to turn back and find it for the
farrier!
To find Mia’s shoe, (and the second cache!), you will need
to find the first cache pot!
