Mystery cache placed in honor of our recently injured Muggle Dog
who could not make the trek out there to place this tonight. He'll
be back on long walks shortly. Bring a pen and post pics of your
dog(s) enjoying the park.
UPDATE - Nigel is now doing much better and is back on long
night walks with Muggle Dad.
Now that the FTF... well... found it, this cache is now open to all
geocachers (not just premium members).
This is a wonderfully large park nestled in the middle of
everything. Skate ramps, basketball, kiddie climbers, stretching,
soccer, jogging trails, handicapped accessible... this park has
everything and is easily enjoyed by young, old, and dogs alike. No
need for cardboard cut-outs of kids to accompany you to this
park.
The first coordinates will take you to the order in which you will
have to place the following numbers:
- A: Number of clocks inside the park
- B: Number of giraffe heads visible from the jogging trail.
(walk until you see them... they're clearly visible from the
trail)
- C: Number of Tyrannosaurus Rex sliding boards
- D: There are stairs from the kiddie section to the bathroom. On
the right of the stairs, as you come to the top, on the wall of the
bathroom, there are diamonds... the total number of diamonds (count
the halves also... double check your number by counting the number
of trees adjacent to the path from stage one to the wing shaped
fountains.)
- E: Number of colors on the basketball court
- F: Number of fish ponds
- H: Number of stairs from the kiddie playground to the
bathroom
Final location yields a micro with enough room for a log and a
SMALL trackable. No room for a pen, so bring your own!
FTF is a Premium member only, I'll open it up to the general
public after the FTF. FTF also scores themselves an official "Not
Another Micro" GeoPin
Congratulations to forsaken115 and matthewnlaurie
for the Co-FTF!
Have fun. Enjoy the park. And share your story.
No Hints.
Difficulty is set due to muggles, size of container, and the
counting... (I think it is set too high, but clayjar says
differently.)

This shot of the kids and the dog reminds me of the Peter Pan kids and their dog.

Who would have thought a dog could play scrabble?
Nigel home in bed
Nigel hurt his paw and couldn't come with us to place this cache, so we named it after him. He'll be back up and around in no time.

September 17 by The Muggle Family (153 found) So I went out tonight after repeated requests... there are still a LOT of muggles here! The cache is intact, yes, all pieces of it, and they're right where they were originally placed. Phew! What a relief. (Well, on my part anyway.)To those having troubles finding it, hang in there. You'll get it eventually. If you find yourself at wit's end, drop me a line or PAF your way to a find. I'm not here to ruin your day. (Maybe I'm out to prolong it, but definitely not ruin it.) Okay... I guess that's all. I can stop typing now.
[view this log] | August 7 by larzanth (107 found) Was wondering if you've had a chance to swing out there to check on it yet?
[view this log] | June 20 by The Muggle Family (153 found)
I'll swing back by to check on the first stage. I should have an answer for you tomorrow.
[view this log] | June 20 by larzanth (107 found) After reading the other posts, I believe I came up with the correct counts on the items, but there's supposed to be a nano at the first set of coords? I looked high, low, underneath, upside down, backwards, forwards, and even strayed off in a 10 meter radius to come up with nothing.Everyone's right. Muggles abound, especially around the first coords. Could it please be verified whether the nano still exists at the first coords or not? That way I know I'm not going crazy.
[view this log] | May 27 by The Muggle Family (153 found) Went by the other day to check on this one and to dip a coin. All is well with the cache, happy hunting!
