An Anglo-Saxon Riddle Letterbox Hybrid
Ellesche2100: Visited this one yesterday with the intention of replacing the container, but the contents were wet and moldy, stamp was dripping ink and ink pad was leaking. Time to archive. I will clean it up and reuse the stamp closer to Georgetown.

A letterbox cache located along the Etobicoke Creek.
Here is the riddle:
My garments fall silent
when they tread the earth,
inhabit my dwelling,
or stir the water.
Sometimes my trappings
and the lofty air
raise me high
above the houses of men
and the power of clouds
then bears me far and wide
over the people.
My adornments resound
loudly and melodiously.
They sing clearly
when I am not resting
on the flood and the earth--
a soaring spirit.
Can you guess who I am?
The answer can be found at the cache.
This is a letterbox cache, please
DON'T take or trade the stamp out.
I have wanted to hide a letterbox for a long time and I wanted to
do it "right" so struggled a bit creating a hand-carved stamp.
There is also a stamp pad in the cache. Space is very tight in the
cache, I did not even have room for a pen.
I always enjoy adding stamps to my letterbox book so please add
this one to your book and add your own stamp to the logbook inside
the cache. If you do not have a stamp, just draw a little something
and sign your name. Enjoy!
To find the letterbox, go to the posted
coordinates where you will find a bench. Have a seat and look over
your right shoulder. Do you see a large tree close by in the woods?
Go there to find the letterbox in the
tree.
