A minha 4ª cache (a 1ª multicache)!

- 2 Logbooks

- Lápis

- Afia

- Stashnote

- Ás de ouros

Boas passeatas! :-)

My 4th cache (the 1st multicache)!

This small multicache will take you for a walk alongside the top of the cliffs, in a pine forest area with a fantastic view over the beach, the ocean and the shoreline.

This large beach extends for over than 5 kilometres, since Vilamoura to Olhos de Água, flanked by a continuous line of high cliffs with its typical shades of ochre and white, which create contrasting plays of colours with the lofty green stains of the pines. It's the rock erosion that feeds the beach with sand. So, it is possible to observe, in this cliff's base, small sand cones where the typical dune plants grow.

Be careful not to get too close to the cliff’s edge, because it can be unstable.

Enjoy yourself! B ring the swimming suit and have a dive on the ocean, or simply enjoy the sunset standing on the sand.

The initial cache is situated in a cliff's re-entrance, which is accessible by the beach. Then you'll need to access to the cliff's top. The best way to do it is to walk by the beach, in Vilamoura's direction, go up by the wood stair carpet which give access to the hotel (you don't need to walk in the hotel's restricted area, which is well demarked) and, in the top of it, turn left, following the track by the cliff's edge.

Another alternative is to get into a track near the beach access road and follow the path. This two entrances are marked in this cache's waypoints.

The final cache consists in a transparent rectangular medium tupperware, with a green cover, packed in a green plastic bag. His initial content is:

- 2 Logbooks

- Pencil

- Sharpener

- Stashnote

- Ace of Diamonds

Enjoy! :-)

During our holiday we visit some interesting places and locations.
Most of the caches we did was based in a beautifull landscape.

This one was very well.
Thank you for this cache.

Belo passeio.

Obrigado.

Found it at 17:00.
We were able to find the first cache, but the coordinates given at the first cache didn't bring us to the final cache location.
We couldn't understand the coordinates, so instead we were trying to search for stone landmarks along a pathway.
By coincidence we found it.

We are curious how to interpret the given coordinates ! Can anybody give us some information on this ?

Nice location, TFTC !

We are in Portugal for a weeks holiday from England. We were due to be lying by the hotelpool but the pull of caching got the better of us. We have enjoyed many lovely walks while over here. Found the clue on day one but postponed the final until today. Great views.

Not sure I got the gist of this one really. I assume the first cache is at the published co-ordinates, and that cache contains co-ordinates for the second one?

Anyway, entered the cliff walk by the far entrance next to the hotel (along the "wooden carpet"). Very pleasant walk along towards the published co-ords, with stunning views. However, it appeared that the GZ was down a very steep slope, in a location that could have been more easily accessed from the beach. Noticed a wooden stairway leading down there but it looked very rickety, we didn't want to risk it. Either our GPSr was seriously off, or somebody has chosen a strange place to hide the cache -- there are plenty of nice hiding spots at the cliff top.
