A minha 4ª cache (a 1ª multicache)!

- 2 Logbooks

- Lápis

- Afia

- Stashnote

- Ás de ouros

Boas passeatas! :-)

My 4th cache (the 1st multicache)!

This small multicache will take you for a walk alongside the top of the cliffs, in a pine forest area with a fantastic view over the beach, the ocean and the shoreline.

This large beach extends for over than 5 kilometres, since Vilamoura to Olhos de Água, flanked by a continuous line of high cliffs with its typical shades of ochre and white, which create contrasting plays of colours with the lofty green stains of the pines. It's the rock erosion that feeds the beach with sand. So, it is possible to observe, in this cliff's base, small sand cones where the typical dune plants grow.

Be careful not to get too close to the cliff’s edge, because it can be unstable.

Enjoy yourself! Bring the swimming suit and have a dive on the ocean, or simply enjoy the sunset standing on the sand.

The initial cache is situated in a cliff's re-entrance, which is accessible by the beach. Then you'll need to access to the cliff's top. The best way to do it is to walk by the beach, in Vilamoura's direction, go up by the wood stair carpet which give access to the hotel (you don't need to walk in the hotel's restricted area, which is well demarked) and, in the top of it, turn left, following the track by the cliff's edge.

Another alternative is to get into a track near the beach access road and follow the path. This two entrances are marked in this cache's waypoints.

The final cache consists in a transparent rectangular medium tupperware, with a green cover, packed in a green plastic bag. His initial content is:

- 2 Logbooks

- Pencil

- Sharpener

- Stashnote

- Ace of Diamonds

Enjoy! :-)

Found at 14.00 hours.
Whilst we found it relatively easily we have some comments.
The first stage directions were exposed to the elements so we replaced with a new film canister in a new plastc bag. The direction paper was already soggy and would not have lasted the coming rains. But we think it would be better to give the minutes of the coordinates in 3 digits not 4.
Then, there needs to be a correction made to the directions to the final cache site. Translation of 'esquerda' should be ''left' not 'right' as stated!
In other respects we enjoyed the cache and the cliff top and beach walks. Thanks.
