This cache is located in Smith Pond Park across the street from the Delaware Academy in Delhi, NY. This small park has hiking trails and some spots for fishing. It's a nice place to have a picnic.
This cache is part of a class project with students from Delhi Middle School who learned about geocaching in 2008. The students originally placed three caches, though this is the lone remaining one.
The cache was adopted by softball29 in 2011.
