Marie Halvorson died March 30, 2004. She was 81.
She was born Nov 24, 1922, near Theif River Falls, MN. She
lived in Wadena, MN for nearly sixty years.
She was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoors enthusiast. She
owned a cabin for many years on Upper Bottle, near the spot of this
geocache.
We have placed this cache in her honor, because we know that she
would have loved adventures like these. Among other things, there
is some fishing tackle in this container that was hers, left in her
tacklebox. I'm sure she would be happy to have someone use it.
While this is certainly not strict, we encourage people to use
this cache as a Tackle Trader - bring some fishing tackle that
you won't use and swap it for some that you will.
Here's to you, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma. Hope that the fish
are always biting in Heaven.
