Second installment of a series of caches to lead you up the fire roads of Griffith Park.

Now that Griffith Park has experienced significant regrowth since the fire of 2007 that destroyed 800 acres, it's time to repopulate the caches on this side of the hill.

Cache is a cammoed metal tin.

Be sure to check out GOOGLE MAPS SATELLITE IMAGES, to see how the area was devastated by the fire.

I'm glad I wasn't actually taking a walk in the park in August. Though I started my hike at 7 am, it was warm enough today by the time I got here to have me good and sweaty. Found the cache no problem. Thanks!

A nice morning for a hike although the view was smoggy. TFTC

10th of 18 finds today with Foon! The weather was perfect - not too hot - and the views were beautiful! Believe it or not, we're still hiking after finding Dude, My Car's Where #1! This was quick and easy and the coords were perfect. SL! TFTC!

10th of 18 finds today with RavRobin. We started the day with a 7-mile hike around Griffith Park, grabbed dinner at Philippe, and then took a 3-mile walk around Downtown Los Angeles. I don't remember much about this one, other than that the coords were good, and we had to walk up a little trail. We must have still been reeling from "DUDE, MY CARS WHERE? #1". TFTC.

First one of the day for LAEd and I. We had a little trouble at first but then eagle eye Ed spotted it. Cache is in good condition at this time.
