IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from Braves1995 about maintaining this cache which makes it appear they are either unwilling or unable to maintain this geocache. Cache maintenance includes: replacing broken or missing containers, replacing full or wet logs, updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing the needs maintenance attributes, enabling the listing, and more. Check out all of a geocache owner's responsibilities here. This cache is being archived, and removed from the active cache listings.

Geocache Description:

I-40 Trackable Exchange

A muggle free, middle of nowhere chance to drop-off/pick-up trackables on those long I-40 trips.

⇔This Trackable hot spot is an easy park-n-grab.⇔

It is accessible from I-40 east or west bound.  Take exit 226 and the closest parking is on the west-bound on ramp but if you're east bound, take exit and cross over bridge and pull off to shoulder.  Easy-peasy

Cache is down the hill, less than 100 feet from the shoulder, near barbed wire fence.

You will find it at the base of a good sized tree, covered with dead branches.  It's a camo'd thermos with plenty of room for trackables and other swag.

When I placed the cache, I was surprised at the amount of garbage way out here.  Must be the truckers and ranchers but the area is beautiful to me and I think you'll enjoy getting out and stretching your legs too.

If the coordinates are off a little, as it was windy the day I planted it, just look at the base of the trees.

As always, watch for critters and everything else.

SIGN THE LOG AND TELL ME WHERE YOU'RE FROM! smiley

HAPPY CACHING
