The cache is not located at the above listed coordinates!!!
As noted, the cache is not at the coordinates noted above - as those coordinates will lead you to one of my favorite spots in Stony Plain where you may want to grab a coffee or ice cap in readiness for finding all the caches we've placed in Stony Plain.
As you've probably already surmised, this is another of Mama's offspring - who has flown the coop and wound up in our lovely town. It's up to you to perform a few mathematical equations to figure out where the cache is hiding.
The cache coordinates are:
N 53 ST.ONY and
W 113 PL.AIN
The letters in the two words will equate to numbers based on the equations that follow. The 'N' in both words is the same number and the numbers are 1 through 9 (no zero). If you don't want to try to solve the equations, then good luck as you will narrow it down to only a few hundred possible locations ..... but trial and error would eventually get you there. The equations will lead you to only one set of answers and hence only one set of
coordinates. The equations are rather simple but you must start with the right one, otherwise it could take a long time to come up with the answers. Equations as follows:
A > N
L = S squared
N x A = O x S
O = I cubed
I - T = T and finally,
STONY from PLAIN is S
Now even though this is not a theme cache, it is chocked full of beverage, Beer and Wine charms so if you have something beverage related, please trade at will. There is a FTF from Timmy's in the cache - don't forget to grab it if you are the first mathematician to find the cache.
