This cache is placed to welcome everyone to La Jolla Valley.
Accessed from the La Jolla campground along PCH ($5.00 fee)
Cache is about 1/2 mile from the parking area.
The La Jolla Valley changes with each season so no matter when you
visit it’s always a welcome sight to see.

Jim came out for a short hike with his sister, Lenore. He's trying to get back into shape after surgery, and this was a nice day for it  Saw a number of flowers in bloom, and checked up on the caches in the canyon. All of them are in good shape, although someone left a piece of candy in here (NOT a good idea!), so we took it out and disposed of it. Cheers!

I looked to no avail in the morning and then I figured I should give it another shot on my return. I was somewhat worried about a DNF on the "Welcome" cache, but fortunately in the afternoon I spotted it immediately. TFTC
