Located in Middlebury which has an extensive greenway (walk way) area. You can park in any of the parking areas located on RT 64 or park at Meadowview Park on RT 188 behind the Middlebury Police station (closest location for public parking).
Lake Elise is a Middlebury Land Trust holding, fishing allowed. The path around the lake is clearly defined, but there are many tree roots to step over.
The cache container is a white plastic jar aprox 8" tall and 5" around. It contains some N.Y.Yankee keepsakes, flashlight, eyeglass kit, and other useful or fun stuff.
The area gets busy on weekends. For a longer walk use the greenway to make your way to the Lake.
The cache is hidden aprox 170' from the water edge.
