We Love Lundy!
We will be there in June for our third stay on the island, but unfortunately we will have to leave it on Saturday 23 June. To cheer us up on our last day there, we'd love to meet some other cachers for a get-together.
Lundy is beautiful (if weather-beaten!) special place in the Bristol Channel, and only accessible by boat (about 2 hours on the Lundy supply ship Oldenburg) or helicopter.
On the event date, the ship is due to leave Bideford at 0830 and returns there about 1930. Details on the above related web page.
It's an early start and a long day but at least that should give daytrippers about 6-7 hours there and a decent chance of seeing the furthest (northern) end of the island, and to find the other caches (and letterboxes) on Lundy.
We plan to meet on the grassy area just to the east of the pub (or inside the pub if rainy) from about 10.45am until noon(ish).
A last visit to the pub in the afternoon before the boat leaves is also a possibility!
