Geocache Description:

An easy walk from the parking lot to this cache.  Check in at the Ceasar's Creek Visitor's Center if you want to do some fossil hunting.

BYOP!

This is our first cache, so any feedback is appreciated.  The Ceasar's Creek spillway is part of the Ceasar's Creek dam system that created the lake you saw on your way in.  In the spring, when it rains, the Army Corps of engineers will flood the spillway to relieve pressure on the dam, so please be sure to close the cache tightly.

The terrain in the spillway is easy to navigate and hopefully we've hidden the cache well.

There are plenty of outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, swimming and boating at the park surrounding the lake so if you have the time, have a day of adventure.

There may be lots of muggles around, but they are looking for fossils, so you will blend right in.  If you want to look for fossils, check in at the visitor's center about a mile from where the cache is hidden.
