Clark Reservation State Park is a geological wonder of the last ice age and a botanist's paradise. The Park's natural features include rugged cliffs, woodland and meadow, a wetland and a glacial plunge basin lake It is home to rare plants - bushwhacking is
not allowed (please stay on the trails). This cache can be found without leaving the trail (literally - you can reach it from the trail). There are several ways to get to this cache, some easier than others!
We originally filled the cache with items that reflect nature (the number and kinds of spring wildflowers in this park is incredible, not to mention sightings of small reptiles, coyote, deer and numerous birds) and safety. However, we had to downsize the cache due to repeated theft, and there now is not much room for trade items. Please do not put larger items in the cache that prevent the lid from closing. Please rehide this cache as you found it so that it is not found by muggles! Please ensure that the lid is snapped down tight all the way around so that the contents stay dry! Thank you.
There are many caches at Clark Reservation – if you want to find them all in one day, allow a several hours and be sure to pick up a free trail map (or print the map attached as a photo below)!
Congratulatons to Choclatnut of Team Position Police for being the first-to-find. Enjoy the 2005 Geocoin!
