The village of Trelleck dates back to pre history and was a major
Medieval Settlement, reputed to be one of the largest in Wales
outshining Carmarthen, Newport and Swansea. The decay of the
township began as the result of a deer poaching incident, when the
Earl of Norfolk’s men attacked the Town and slew many of the
inhabitants. Trelleck suffered severely from the Black Death and in
the early 1400s from the ravages of Owain Glyndwr. In 1700 Edward
Lluyd was able to record of Trelleck that “it is now reduced to a
poore and inconsiderable village”.

groundcover material. It contains the usual swappable type items
