Geocache Description:

Historic Saxonville Cache lets you explore some local history while gathering clues that will let you find the final cache.

To solve the Historic Saxonville Cache and be able to declare "I Discovered Saxonville" you will have to explore some Saxonville history. The listed cache coordinates are only a convenient parking lot, not the cache itself. To find the cache you will have to construct the coordinates by finding numbers on some of the buildings and sites on the Saxonville Historic Walking Tour that was created by the Friends Of Saxonville.

The walking tour will let you visit many interesting sites in this historic mill village on the eastern side of Framingham. Finding the clues should not prove overly difficult but will provide a challenge different from most geocaches. The estimated time to complete the entire cache is 60 to 90 minutes.

To determine the final cache coordinates you will need the information from my web site. Visit it here:

The final cache is now an ammo box, as plastic containers never seem to stay dry. The cache was started with plenty of finders buttons plus a few toys and coins for swapping.

UPDATE: One of the clues has been changed! The "new" Danforth Street Bridge, built in 1982, is being replaced by an even newer bridge. So here's your answer to that clue.

UPDATE 2:Another clue has changed. The map of Saxonville Industrial Park with the buildings numbered has been removed so this clue can no longer be found. The building number you were looking for is 5.
