This event is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the hobby of Geocaching. Experienced cachers are also welcome to attend and add to the conversation. We will have handouts explaining the game, examples of geocache containers, and some temporary caches for attendees to find.
The event begins at 10:00 am at the Ericson Public Library in Boone.
The event is a precurseor to the Iowa Geocachers Organization annual event called Hike-N-Seek, which will be held near Ames at the Story County Conservation Center, the weekend of Sepetmber 23-24th.
