Star Wars Day is an unofficial secular holiday in May which celebrates the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. May 4 is considered a holiday by Star Wars fans to celebrate the franchise's films series, books, and culture. The date was chosen for the easy pun on the catchphrase "May the Force be with you"—"May the fourth be with you" It is observed by fans of the movies and observance of the holiday spread quickly due to Internet, social media, and grassroots celebrations

Where: Gather in front of the Sign post at 1919 and begin reinacting the Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker Lightsaber battle. The official photo will be taken at this time and at 7:30 we will then proceed with the Meet & Greet portion at Denny's.
What to Wear/Bring: Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and Bring your lightsaber (Candy version or glow stick accepted).
