It has been a while since I first looked at "Homestead Prairie Tour". I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

When you have repaired this cache, drop me a line and I can review it again for listing on the geocaching.com site.

Geocache Description:

Northwest of Crawford on Sand Creek Road.

Start at above coords which is ruins of a early homestesd.
Tour consists of three additional waypoints, plus final cache. All waypoints offer spectacular views of surrounding areas. Tour includes such areas as homestead ruins, High Plains Homestead and Drifter's Cookshack, Sugarloaf well field,Hudson-Meng Bison Bonebed,Round Top and Cedar Canyon.
Also you have a view of Sugarloaf Butte, Black Hills and Whitney Lake in distance. Don't attempt this in wet conditions, or with low clearance vehicles. Four wheel drive would help, but is not as important as a little clearance. Each waypoint could be hiked in from the main road without much difficulty if you have a little time.
