Geocache Description:

As the title suggests, this cache is all about the exchange of currency (coins/notes)from around the world, both old and new.

I have always had an interest in coins and set up this cache to give others the chance to see and exchange different coins/notes. If, like some, you always have loose foreign currency lying around after your holidays then this cache is the answer.

Inside the cache are coins, some very old and some recent, both from abroad and here. Please feel free to swap.

The location of the cache site is alongside the River Tees and on a route that I have taken my family on many occasions. It is within close proximity of two other caches and if combined will give you a pleasent stroll along the banks of the Tees. If you have time it is worth going to the top of the Maze Park view point to gain a 360`view of the surrounding area. Also if you continue past the cache site towards the bridge you can cross over the river and complete the short circular walk back to the carpark.

If, during the walk to the site, you keep your eyes peeled, you may see the local wildlife such as kingfishers, foxes, seals and even leaping fish, to name just a few.

There is a FTF prize inside the cache and also the cache is big enough to place Geo(COINS)in if you wish.

Just one last thought. When you hold the different coins, just think what a story they would have to tell. The many different hands they have been in......
