A cache hidden close to a public footpath near Doggetts fishing lake in Rochford.
The best way to find this cache is by parking at the coordinates shown and then walk down the private road (It's also a public footpath), which runs to the north of the car park.
Doggetts lake is on the site of an old gravel pit and you can still see the remains of the various workings in the landscape.
As the lake is home to some very large fish, it's very popular with fishing muggles so the up most stealth must be employed when approaching the cache site.
From where the cache is hidden, you can continue your walk around the lake for an interesting circular walk whilst keeping an eye out for the many forms of wildlife which now inhabit the area.
