Team Dromomania: This was the second time this hide was destroyed by wildfire. There is no plan to replace it. Still, Goat Rock ( the hide location ) is a pretty cool spot with picnic tables and a fire ring nearby.

Geocache Description:

Horses and Hikers can take the Glen Eden Trail near Lakeport and go all the way to Ukiah. The trail is well marked and easy to follow.


The cache is located on a huge rock formation called Goat Rock. You'll be looking for a well hidden camo match stick holder. Keep your search within the foreground of the hint photo view for a quicker find. Afterwards continue your hike a few hundred yards to Scotts Creek for a cool break.

A fire has swept through the area. The twisted pine at the hide and the container were lost in the fire. The container has been replaced but I won't be replacing the twisted pine.
