This is absolutely the best view of the Royal Gorge and it's FREE!

This cache is located at 6680 ft (2037 meters) in elevation. Be careful of your footing and please keep a close watch on the little tykes. You do not have to pay the admission fee to visit this overlook.
If you walk out a ways from the cache, it is the best place to view the Royal Gorge Bridge and the canyon. The train goes thru the gorge at several times a day. Neat to watch it snake its way thru the gorge. Fun to watch the helicopter drop out of the sky over the bridge. Cache is a small ammo can with plenty of room for swag.
