Feeling Groov-E at the Hard Dock Cafe Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

drummerchik: The bush this was bike-locked to was pruned so much that someone simply removed lock. I really hate to end this one but no where else to really pout it and I am going on a long RV trip so I am going to archive it.

Geocache Description:

A fun cache to bring back memories of the groovy days of the 60s and early 70s. I know a member of a band called Groove that plays here occasionally and have come to listen to them, which gave me the idea for this. They're pretty good so come catch them when they're here.
Be very careful of muggles!

Having come of age in the late 60s, early 70s, I have a lot of memories of that time period. I remember watching the Beatles on Ed Sullivan and Ringo became my favorite. Although it took me 40+ years to do it, I'm following in his footsteps to become a drummer and have learned my first Beatle song, " I Want to Hold Your Hand".
I hope to keep this stocked with time-period related stuff so if you take something, please replace it with like things. When you log, use time -related language, you know-like far out, man! If that was before your time-so sorry- ask a hippie. It would be fun if you'd mention anything you remember from then, such as TV shows, clothing, etc., too.

Hope you enjoy finding this as much as I had hiding it.

Related coin and your own pot plant for FTF!
I meant POTTED, but there is a plant in a pot next to the cache whose leaves do resemble pot leaves. It is in the Hibiscus family and will get red or white flowers (see pix) I'll leave some seeds in case anyone wants them.

Slow down, you movin' too fast
You gotta make the MORNING last
Just kickin' down the cobblestones
Lookin' for fun and
Feelin' groovy____________

Hello lampost
Whatcha knowin?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'
Ain'tcha got no rhymes for me?
Doo Bee Doo Doo,
Feelin' groovy____________

Got no deeds to do
No promises to keep
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morningtime drop all its petals on me...
Life, I love you,
All is groovy____________________
(Simon & Garfunkel lyrics)
