Then you are a Panhandle Geocacher!!
Come on out and join fellow Panhandle Geocachers for our second adopt a highway clean up. We will be cleaning up a two mile stretch of Highway 90 between Crestview and Defuniak Springs.
Panhandle Geocachers will be removing litter on this stretch of road for the next two years, a minimum of four times a year.
Volunteers need to come prepared which includes wearing gloves, a good quality shoe (no open-toed shoes), and wear light or bright colored clothing. Safety vests will be provided and must be worn by all participants. A good pair of sunglasses, a cap or visor and sun block should be considered.
If 12-15 year-olds participate, they must be accompanied by an adult.
No horseplay or alcoholic beverages will be allowed.
Water will be provided as well as garbage bags.
We will meet at 7 am, have a safety briefing, break into groups and meet back at designated point for a group photo at 10 am.
