Här invid den gamla landsvägen
mellan Gisslarbo och Bernshammar låg tidigare torpet
Galgbacken.
Här låg även i gamla tider avrättningsplatsen som hörde till den
gamla Tingsplatsen, Tingsalsbacken, som fanns ca 1km NNV, alltså
ganska precis där Karmansbos GC2Y13D Välkommen till Skbg....
ligger.
Kanske tänkte man att de två sankmarkerna som ligger på var sin
sida om den gamla platsen passade bra att göra sig av med de som
avrättats, de skulle ju ändå inte få vila i helig jord.
Det här är den första cachen jag lägger som erbjuder gott om
utrymme till bytessaker, dock finns där inga inledningsvis från min
sida, ovan som jag är att tänka på sådant.
Here next to the old country road between the willages of Gisslarbo
and Bernshammar you'll find the remnants of the old homestead
Galgbacken (Gallows Hill).
Here was also in older days the place for execution of those
convicted to pay the final price. The old court place,
Tingsalsbacken, was not more than 1km NNV away, that is actually
very close to the Cache GC2Y13D Välkommen till Skbg....
Perhaps they found this place suitable considering that the
executed ones had to be buried in a unholy ground like a Marsh and
there are on both sides of this place suitable ones for that.
This is the first cache from my side where the size offers plenty
of space for trading stuff.
