Beautiful spot to rest . Good parking. Easy walk. Bring your own
pencil.
Take it easy, chill out and lighten up! No, you can’t camp
here, but it’s a great little rest stop in a great little
town.
Years ago, this place was called Tailholt Crossing. Why? Because
horseback riders would hold onto their horses tail as the horses
swam across to the other side. Cross the bridge to town to explore
and learn other interesting things about our great little town.
This cache was placed in honor of our friends, Fernie and
Gerrie, who introduced us to Geocaching; it contains only
hat/collar pins; Fernie’s favorite find. Please keep this
theme by trading only these items.

January 24 by mcgeester (1983 found) This was a great spot to stop and stretch our legs. After we put the log back, a local couple came down to feed the geese, and put on quite a noisy show. We really enjoyed watching them. Thanks for the smiley!

January 11 by snosrfpolo (7087 found) #6881 We stayed right across the street and I saw there was a virtual and this cache. I zeroed in on GZ, but it was my non caching hubby who actually made the find. I must have walked by it 10 times. I actually was looking for something different. Great camo, I should have found it as I have seen similiar ones. SL TFTH.

January 10 by Dustydew (1351 found) We ended our bike ride on the Greenway right here and were starting to look for the cache, but there were a couple people hanging around. Finally it dawned on me they were Geocaching too!! Very clever hide, love the container! Signed the log and headed for home. TFTH!!
