Andy (AndyScorch) and Richard (RichardIStone) are undertaking a 24 hour geocaching marathon to raise money for Cancer Research. To complicate things, Andy suffers from ongoing knee problems so cannot walk more than 200m unaided; to reach the caches he will use a wheel chair, an electric scooter (which will need to be recharged during the 24 hour period,) possibly his bicycle and no doubt his crutches!
The marathon will run from noon on the 16th April to noon on the 17th of April and will lead us to visit a number of cache series around Norfolk and Suffolk. This event is for us to celebrate the completion of the challenge and have a hearty meal! We invite fellow cachers to join us and to find out how well we did and probably what 24hours of caching does to 2 middle aged men who could be a lot fitter!
The Hotel serves food all day, if you would like to eat before or after the event can you please indicate this in your Will Attend log so I can inform the staff. We are aiming to eat before the event. Thanks.
