Geocache Description:

A regular sized cache along the horse trail by Bear Creek.

Back before the golf course, dam, park, new Morrison road and any of the housing developments in this area, there was a small ranch located here called Pleasant Valley Ranch.  This is where I grew up.  By the time my parents purchased the ranch, we mostly did horse boarding, although we dabbled in several other things as well.  This cache is in rememberance of my time growing up on the ranch.  This is also in rememberance of some great animals/friends I grew up with on the ranch....horses Pepper and Elbert,  dogs Fritz and Baron, cats Pig and Muffin, and many others.

The cache is located along the horse trail next to Bear Creek.  Shallow creek crossing is required!  Be careful in the spring when the creek may be higher.  It is a camouflaged regular size container with swag, log and pen.  Parking may be best by the entrances to the Bear Creek biking and hiking trail.
