How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

At the entrance of the dirt driveway you will find a sign about private property. At GZ, the north side is private property and the south side, on the other side of the barbed wire, is National Forest land. This is a trail that runs in a loop through this National Forest. You're welcome to park at GZ near the tanks with the permission of Tevis Family. It's well marked and runs just under a mile. Look for the first cache there to give the coordinates to the main cache on the trail.

It is best to come in from the East from Interstate 15. side versus the Baldy Mesa side. By doing this you'll avoid trespassing on private property. The property to the West and North is Geocaching friendly, but please respect their privacy. You do not need an adventure pass if you park here. Please stay on the trail, your foot prints will stay until the next rain and that's not too often here in the High Desert.

Enjoy the hike.
