A cache dedicated to the 'fearless five' cachers who offroaded on
the slopes of Winter Hill to do one cache as it couldn't be left
unlogged !(that's the spirit lads!!) This one is out to put just
that 'little bit extra' to tempt people back to this superb place
again (although it shouldn't need it), a truly amazing and
captivating place, for full effect do it in the dark with a few of
you ! the group hike up here really was superb today and I would
reccomend it to anyone who was up for it.
The cache name refers to one member of the intrepid 5 who fell
over a short way from this cache on the thick ice with a thud, and
was heard to shout 'I'M SLIPPING' !, as we turned round we had the
superb sight of him sliding downhill on his back on the sheet ice,
an image I won't forget in a hurry ! Thanks for the laughs in sub
zero temperatures !
The cache is a lock and lock box with various swaps and bits and
bobs, hope you have fun looking for it and enjoy your walk !
