Geocache Description:

Follow the trail for a nice nature walk; the last portion being a gentle slope rather than a steep hill.

This site was the location of Battery C of the 241st Coast Artillery during World War II. Along the way are the remnants of gun mounts and ammuntion storage bunkers.

At the summit is a spectacular view of Cape Cod Bay and the entrance to the canal.

Cache is a round clear plastic container with blue screw-top cover.

Please cover well to prevent unintentional finds as this is a busy walking area.
