"Down the Lane" are cemetery caches we've placed that are off the beaten path.
They are not located on, or possibly even visible from, paved roads.
As these locations may have dirt or grass entrances, their conditions can be affected by weather.

OHIO SPIRIT QUEST
The "SQ" in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by NWOGEO members to highlight cemeteries or memorial gardens in the area. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours which are typically sunrise to sunset.

Welcome to Peter Cemetery!
Richland Township, Defiance County, Ohio
This small cemetery holds approximately two dozen tombstones and it rests against Brubaker Creek. The cache container is a small round lock-n-lock.
There were once about 15 oak markers in this cemetery. They were cleaned up and set in place next to the fence. They were stolen at a later date by persons unknown. The names on the markers were unreadable.
