Geocache Description:

Do Not drive over the bridge, park on the south side. You can almost drive up to this cache. It is not under the bridge.

The owner of the bridge requests that this be hunted during the daytime only.

This cache is placed on a privately owned covered bridge on a public road (County has refused to take it over) and is placed with the permission of Margaret Golden and her son John.

You are looking for a Altoid Can. Replace as how you found it.

Three other reasons I brought you here are:

1) If you'll look 50 yards Southeast of the cache location (where the blue markings are on the road and the blue poles) you'll see where the Winona Raw Water Pipeline crosses heading to Little Rock. For more info on the pipeline see the cache "Winona Pipeline" (GC199FO).

2) If you look 50 yards to the North you will see where the old wagon road crosses the creek. On February 6, 1932, my dad's sister (Della Mae White) drowned in this rain swollen creek while crossing it in a horse drawn wagon on her way to school. She is buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery (GC199J0). This will give you a little more info.

3) About 150 yards north of here (which you can't see) is where an old railroad bed crosses the Golden's property. For more info on the old railroad, see the Winona Pipeline cache I've listed in #1 above.

Hope you enjoy this cache as much as I have in telling you a little history of the area.

Congratulations to Calicomo on the First-To-Find!!!!
