This is an easy traditional cache in the ruins of the old fortress Studenice.
Einfacher Cache in den Ruinen der Burg Studenice.
Enostaven Cache na razvalinah studenickega gradu.
Because of its well, the village of Studenice was already
known in ancient times (Studenec actually means well).
In the beginning of the 13th Century, a Hospital and a church where build there and few years later converted into a Dominican monastery.
The monastery was closed in 1782 and some years later the monastery
and the fortress above it burned down in a fire.
In the 19th century the fortress was rebuilt, but now there are only
ruins left.
Thanks to the fact that the monastery was later bought and reopened
by an other religious order (Magdalenen), much of the monastery and the
church survived.
After the Second World War the monastery was closed.
Now some parts of the monastery are already renovated and this task
is going on.
The cachebox is a plastic container, about 19x13x7 cm in size.
You can reach these ruins on a small, steep, winding, but short path
starting in front of the monastery.
(The place in front of the monastery is a good place to park
your car!)
Durch seinen Brunnen war das Dorf Studenice (Studenitz) schon in der
Antike bekannt.
(Studenec heißt Brunnen auf Slowenisch).
Zu Beginn den 13. Jahrhunderts wurden dort ein Hospital und eine Kirche
errichtet, die wenige Jahre später in ein Dominikanerinnenkloster
umgewandelt wurden.
Das Kloster wurde 1782 geschlossen und wenige Jahre später zerstörte
ein Feuer das Kloster und die darüberliegende Burg.
Obwohl die Burg im 19. Jahrhundert neu aufgebaut wurde, sind heute
nur mehr Ruinen zu sehen.
Da das Kloster später von einem anderen Orden (Magdalenen) aufgekauft
und wieder eröffnet wurde, sind Kloster und Kirche erhalten
geblieben.
Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde das Kloster geschlossen.
Teile davon sind heute neu renoviert, am Rest wird noch gearbeitet.
Der Cache ist eine Plastikdose, ungefähr 19x13x7 cm groß.
Die Ruine ist auf einem engen, steilen, gewundenen aber kurzen Weg
vom Kloster aus zu erreichen.
(Der Platz vor dem Kloster eignet sich gut als Parkplatz).
Vas Studenice so bile poznane še v casu antike predvsem
po svojem vodnjaku.
V zacetku 13.stoletja so tukaj ustanovili bolnišnico s cerkvijo, ki se
nekaj let kasneje preuredil v samostan dominikank.
Samostan so zaprli leta 1782, nekaj let kasneje pa je samostan in nekaj
višje ležeci grad tudi zgorel.
Ceprav so grad v 19.stoletju znova zgradili, so danes vidne le še razvaline.
Nekaj let kasneje je samostan kupil magdalenski red, ki ga tudi
uporabljal, se je le- ta ohranil do današnjih dni.
Samostan so po drugi svetovni vojni zaprli. Danes je del samostana že
obnovljen, ostali deli pa se še obnavljajo.
This is the first cache in this part of Slovenia, but we hope more
will follow!
Please hide the cache well again as this place is very crowded between
December the 24th and December the 26th due to the nativity play there.
(This is also worth seeing as even ox and sheep are real animals, but
definitely not a good time to go for geocaching).
Dies ist der erste Cache in diesem Teil Sloweniens,
wir hoffen aber es bleibt nicht der einzige!
Bitte versteckt den Cache aber wieder gut, da dieser Ort von 24. bis
26. Dezember durch das dort stattfindende Krippenspiel stark besucht ist.
(Das Krippenspiel, in dem sogar Ochse und Schafe durch lebende Tiere
besetzt sind, ist sehenswert, aber sicher der falsche Termin für
eine Cachesuche)
V tem delu Slovenije je to prvi cache in upava,
da ne bo edini!
Prosiva vas, da cache vedno dobro skrijete, saj je grad v casu od 24.do
26. decembra mesto živih jaslic in je zelo obiskan.
(V živih jaslicah nastopajo živali kot so osel, ovce,...kar naredi te
jaslice še posebno doživetje.
V tem casu vam odsvetujemo iskanje cacha;vsaj v popoldanskih urah)
