The Magic School Bus on the Ocean Floor
This series of caches is inspired by the excellent Magic School Bus
books by Joanna Cole and Bruce Degen. Each one contains a clue for
the final cache in the series, and each one has initial content
and/or location that is appropriate for the book it
represents.
This isn't exactly on the ocean floor (we didn't feel like making
y'all drive to the coast to finish the series), but it is at least
in sight of a body of water, and according to our GPS, on the floor
of the lake (our GPS has problems with shorelines). The cache is an
ammo box, initially filled with some ocean-related items. No
requirement to follow the theme when trading, though. There are a
lot of muggles in the area, but hopefully none of them will find
it. Do be discreet while searching for the cache, please. This is
also an area that can always use a bit of CITO, although the piles
of filled trash bags in the parking lot at the moment seem to
indicate that some folks have been working on it. It's definitely a
lovely forested location, and lots of people like to come enjoy the
area. It is on gamelands, so take appropriate precautions during
hunting season. Cache is less than a quarter mile from the parking
lot.

 Found it but the container and the contents are burnt and melted from recent control burn in that area. Beautiful area though, great hiking.

Picked up a loggerhead turtle hitchihiker. Also saw a family of deer just as we stumbled across the cache.
