WWFM XI (World Wide Flash Mob 11 - Caching Event)



Saturday June 7th, 2014 from 1:00pm to 1:15pm

Come see me in front of REI right at 1pm, not a minute earlier!!


Last year's WWFM had 558 events in 42 countries, attended by 25,125 people!!!

What is a World Wide Flash Mob Event?
All around the world people will gather in their area at the exact same time --- hang out for 15 minutes, then part ways. The point is to all gather at once and make others around wonder what in the world is going on. So stay away until right at 1 o'clock.

The Theme
Hobby Day! Wayne County Parks is celebrating Hobby Day, so I figured we might as well too. Come dressed and equipped with whatever some of your favorite hobbies are... Fishers - bring a fishing pole, Swimmers - wear your swimming suits, Builders - wear your tool belt, Sleepers - wear your PJs, Roller coaster enthusiasts - wear your theme park attire... bring kites, remote control cars, whatever may pertain to your hobby of choice.

The Plan
Right at 1pm, I'll set my bag down... everyone gather quickly and fill out a 3x5 card with your cacher name on it (don't worry, they won't be sticky notes this time). We will be using these cards to draw names for any giveaways. Get them in quickly, because at approximately 1:05pm, we'll draw for prizes. At about 1:10pm, we'll have a group photo with everyone showing off their favorite hobby. Then at exactly 1:15pm - everyone heads out. Go caching, go enjoy another hobby, or whatever you shall choose.
