Oakley Court is a magnificent Victorian mansion with a colourful history. It was built in 1859 by Sir Richard Hall Say in the style of a French chateau. Between 1919 and 1965 it belonged to Mr Ernest Olivier, who bought the property and 60 acres of woodland for £27,000. It is believed to have been the English HQ for the French Resistance movement during World War II, and President de Gaulle is reputed to have stayed there.

In the years after the war Oakley Court was the setting for around 200 films, most notably many of the horror films made by Hammer Film Productions. Hammer later bought the property next door which was to become Bray Studios. Film fans may also recognise the imposing mansion as St Trinian's School for Young Ladies.
This cache is named after a song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", which was filmed at a time when the mansion was practically derelict, being abandoned after the death of Mr Olivier. The cast and crew had to work around buckets to catch the rain water coming through holes in the roof. |
In 1979 work began to restore the building to its former glory. £5 million was spent and in 1981 Oakley Court Hotel was opened for business. The cache is not in the grounds of the hotel, but you will get a good view of the building from near the cache location.
The co-ordinates listed above are for a car park which is provided free of charge by Eton College - please be aware that it closes at 7pm. There is space for a couple of cars outside the car park too. The cache is about 1.5 miles walk or cycle from the car park. The initial contents include a copy of the book "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, some fake blood capsules, a zombie and a school tie. The first-to-find prize is a DVD of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show".
To get the co-ordinates for the cache, you will have to do some research on the films made at Oakley Court. All the answers were taken from the Internet Movie Database.
