Though not an avid geocacher, I do enjoy getting out with my dad (Wis Wild Weasel), uncle (Comkelp) and friend (Northknights) whenever I get back home to Holcombe for a visit. WWW, Northknights and I were out snowshoeing and checking on some of the caches on the Ice Age Trail Circle Loop today. I thought it would be fun to add one to the great bunch of caches already in and around the Chippewa Moraine State Recreation Area.
I have given a "not winter friendly" attribute to this cache but if you're in the area and the snow isn't too deep, you might spend a few minutes looking anyway.
WWW & Northknights promised they would maintain this cache for me after I go back home to northern Nevada.
Form 2500-118 has been submitted to the Wisconsin DNR. Permission to place this cache was granted by Brendie Rieder at the David R. Obey Ice Age Interpretive Center.
