The P&G Butner series is dedicated to those cachers who prefer staying in the short grass during the summer months. All caches are very close to parking. The caches will either be unique containers, take you to points of interest in the area, or tell a bit about the history of Butner.
Pull up a chair and have a seat. This location offers a spectacular view of one of the three Camp Butner Incinerators that were used to dispose of camp waste. If you look across the road you'll get a good view of Butner's new Central Regional Hospital. This facility is scheduled to replace the local John Umstead Hospital and Dorthea Dix Hospital in Raleigh.
