Geocache Description:

A small cache for those who have access to Kirtland AFB/ Sandia Labs in Albuquerque.

This cache is a treat for the geocacher who can legally get on Kirtland AFB/Sandia Labs. If you're quick it can be done in a lunch hour.

To start, drive your vehicle to the road intersection here: N35.02.318 W106.31.974 and then travel east on the dirt road.

At this point N35.02.327 W106.31.407 turn southeast on the narrow dirt road, this is the road to the cache site .2 miles away. You can drive almost on top of the cache site with any car.

The cache is a small candy tin (see picture) hidden in the structure found at the cache coordinates. Be sure to look very carefully, as it will take a sharp eye to spot.

The tin contains small items as it's a small container. Original contents are: two brass GAU-2 Gatling gun shell casings, an Air Force coin, A mini highlighter, two California beach pebbles from Vandenberg AFB, A suction cup, and two mini clothespins. Additionally, there is a folded sheet describing the cache site, the back of which doubles as the cache log. Any items to be traded in this cache should be very small, as there's just not much space! Also, as of 6 May there is a pencil in the cache for signing the log sheet!

Good luck!
