A short walk from the car park at Walkers Rocks. Hidden under some light leaf litter.
I couldn't resist this one. I mean Walkers Rock may not have the same cachet as Walker'Table Or Walker's Eyrie, but still! We were told of this beach as it has some special shells nearby, and we both spent hours looking for them with considerable succcess. Cache was impromptu but is marked and includes guidelines, log and pencil. It also has some trinkets, including a mood ring from up at Melrose and a special Chelonia turtle from a nest located by Bunya up PT Lowly way. Because of the considerable Muggle traffic through here, the cache is hidden under some leaf litter and should not be left visible. I think I got a good lock as there were 10 sats up at the time, but having experienced how frustrating it can be, travelling a long distance and not finding a cache, here is some more info. It is close to the base of a green bush, probably a boobialla, about 1.5 metres high. It is on the landward side of this bush. On the seaward side you get a good view of Walker's rock

Quite easily rectified our DNF of October 2008. The Wife found it out on open ground on the seaward side. Looks like a dog dug it out and went for a walk. We replaced it back where the story says it should be We know this certainly wasn't here last time we looked for it. There were no mossies either and the Wife has now talked about coming back here for a camping trip and to do some surfing.

This was such a pretty spot. I loved it. The sand was so white.
Very tempting to go for a drive on the beach

I'm not quite sure why I didn't find this one 12 mths ago so I had to come back and rectify that.
Much hotter today, maybe 40 odd at the moment but it is only a short walk from the air cond car and soon I had the cache in my hand.
Nice views out to the water as well.
Thanks Mr Walker.
