Geocache Description:

The first in the "Water for the Wife" series. Since the others in the series are puzzles of varying difficulty, I thought I would make the first one an easy one.

This is a micro hidden at the posted coordinates. Recommended parking is at 40 degrees 10.783, 78 degrees 57.207. It should be a fairly easy find.

Since my wife likes water alot, I thought that for her birthday I would find a nearby body of water without many caches near it and place some caches around it. The Quemahoning Reservoir fit the bill perfectly. Each of the W4W caches contains some of the coordinates for the (not yet published but in the works) "Water for the Wife" Series Final cache, so you will want to bring pen and paper with you to jot down the coordinates. You may want to drive carefully in the area - I came around one bend to find a doe and fawn in the middle of the road while placing these caches!

The cache container contains only a logbook, though it could also hold small trade items. BYOP.

As of 7/25/08, these caches have been placed. The decision to place these for my wife on the occasion of her birthday was fairly impromptu and consequently the containers and logbooks for these caches are not ideal, because I was working with what I had with me at the time that I made the hides. Some of them are not as weatherproof as is ideal. We will improve the caches to be more suitable to their locations within the next week or so, but they should hold out fine 'til then, and I wanted to go ahead and place these for my wife's birthday. Happy birthday, Megan!!!
