Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden along a short trail off the Maple Loop Campground in Smiley’s Provincial Park. The listed coordinates are not for the location of the cache, but rather for the road entrance to the Maple Loop Campground that leads to the trail head. To obtain the exact cache coordinates you must solve the Tree-Tent Puzzle found below (click on the link). Every square in the puzzle can only be occupied by one of three possibilities - a tree, a tent, or grass. All of the tree squares are shown, and one of the grass squares has been revealed to help you get started (row one, column one is shown as grass.) Your mission for this puzzle is to locate all the tents in the grid. Each tree is exactly connected to only one tent. You can have another tree adjacent to a tent, but not connected to it. A tent can be found in a horizontally or vertically adjacent square to the tree. Tents are never placed adjacent to each other, not vertical, not horizontal, not even diagonal. The numbers outside the grid give the total number of tents in each corresponding row or column.

If you need more help, you can find a Tree-Tent Puzzle solving tutorial here (visit link) .

The cache contains a log book, pencils, FTF prize and trader items that a camper may find useful. It is a winter friendly bark camoed 2 kg. peanut butter jar located at
N 45° 00.ABC W 063° 58.DEF
