Geocache Description:

An easy Park & Grab

If you've been around Bryan for a long time, you'll remember this back lot as the movie theater parking lot and it used to be called Manor East Mall. We stood in line for a LONG time to see a brand new movie called Star Wars on one of THREE screens. That was back when Santa didn't show up until the day AFTER Thanksgiving and it was a big thing. Back before we had a Wal-mart. JC Penney's was in the Mall and had a coffee shop up front. I can still hear the clink of the glasses and see the shape of those juice glasses. We bought tons of "My Little Kitty" stuff at the Hallmark store. Saturdays were our days to go to "town". We had quite a bit of stuff from "Monkey" (Montgomery) Wards. Orange Julius was the bomb. ***Congrats to mayo50 for the FTF***
