Geocache Description:

The Silent Messenger

This is a nice little film canister cache located in Garland, Texas. It is by a statue that honors the important work the organization does with and for children around the world. The actual cache is within 10 feet of the coordinates and there is no reason to walk on the statue pedestal or support island itself. The focus of this cache should be on the wonderful art work and time capsule at this location. This cache is small and contains only a log. Please bring your own writing instrument and make your log entry. Enjoy!

Originally this cache was to be a virtual one but that was not approved so we added the micro-cache. There is considerable traffic at this location and you can record a find at the site by sending an email telling what this is about and the date in the future that a item will be opened.
